The Junior League of Spartanburg, Inc. (JLS) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Since 1940, the Junior League of Spartanburg, Inc. (JLS) has effectively worked to help women, children and families. JLS has grown to an organization with over 500 members, including attorneys, teachers, marketers, stay-at-home moms and everything in between. JLS has contributed over 1.8 million volunteer hours and over $2 million to the Spartanburg community.
The Junior League of Spartanburg, Inc. (JLS) is a member of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI), comprised of more than 125,000 women worldwide. Each year, JLS welcomes new members interested in volunteerism, leadership training and meeting new people.
